Pratim Ranjan Bose is a senior journalist and public policy analyst. He writes newspaper columns, appears frequently on national and international television channels and hosts podcast shows on Indian economy, politics and geopolitics. Bose works in advisory roles with various corporates, state governments and think tanks.
A postgraduate in economics from Jadavpur University and a Jefferson Fellow, Pratim began his career as a financial journalist in 1992. Over the next three decades, he wrote extensively on the Indian growth story for top English media—like The Hindu and The Hindu Business Line—and held senior editorial positions.
Alongside domain expertise in key verticals like energy, infrastructure, trade and connectivity, Pratim is credited with ground research across the social, political and economic spectrum in India and the neighbouring economies of Bangladesh, Nepal and Myanmar. He participated in field studies in China and Indonesia as part of the Jefferson Fellowship.
